Black Hills Energy encourages residential customers to purchase and install qualifying energy efficient equipment. We offer rebates for many products to help customers use less energy and save money on their monthly bill.

Products include:

• Water heaters

• Smart thermostats
• Insulation
• Gas fireplaces
• Faucet aerators and showerheads

Schedule a free appointment with a professional energy advisor who will evaluate your home's efficiency and show you ways to save money and energy. Choose from two options:

• In-home energy assessments include a free walkthrough by an energy expert who may conduct a blower door test to identify areas that are leaking air. The advisor may complete air sealing and other energy-efficient upgrades. Receive a $25 rebate when you install a qualified upgrade within one year.
• Virtual energy assessments are completed with your mobile device. Get expert home improvement recommendations, a free kit full of energy efficiency upgrades and up to $50 in rebates to kick-start your savings.
