Our team in Blytheville, Arkansas, carved out time in April to volunteer with the Special Olympic at the Gosnell High School football field. The team was especially happy to be back volunteering for the Special Olympics after the pandemic caused a two-year break in the event.
Employees put their time and talents to work officiating the start of races, supervising events like the shot put and long jump and registering participants.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide sports training and competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
