The South Dakota Community Foundation named Black Hills Energy to the South Dakota Community Foundation Hometown Heroes, recognizing us as a special group of people with a passion for helping our community grow and thrive.

"For almost 33 years, the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) has had the privilege to work with generous people who believe in making their community a better place to live. We are honored to partner with you as you make decisions to provide for your families, while preserving traditions in your community. Together, we are bringing philanthropy to life for a stronger South Dakota,” said the South Dakota Community Foundation in a statement to Black Hills Energy employees.
